Getting there — by airport

✈ Luton (LTN) — Closest

Barbados · Poland · Spain · Germany

~15 mins from Dunstable. Ryanair, Wizz Air, easyJet. Best option for most guests.

Uber/taxi to Premier Inn: ~£13–18, ~15 mins. Then Uber to hall (Sat): ~£13.

Or take the Busway (Z/A service) direct to Dunstable town centre — fast, frequent, cheap.

✈ Heathrow (LHR)

Barbados · Austria · Spain · Germany · UK connections

Elizabeth line → London Euston (~45 mins), then London Northwestern train → Leighton Buzzard (~35 mins). Total: ~1h 20m.

From Leighton Buzzard: X2/X3 bus direct to Dunstable (~40 mins, runs hourly). Or Uber ~£18–25.

Book trains at nationalrail.co.uk. Advance fares from ~£18.

✈ Gatwick (LGW)

Barbados · Spain · Germany · Austria

Train to London Victoria, then London Euston → Leighton Buzzard. Total: ~1h 40–50m.

From Leighton Buzzard: X2/X3 bus to Dunstable (~40 mins). Or Uber ~£18–25.

Alternatively, direct National Express coach from Gatwick → Luton Airport (~2h). Book at nationalexpress.com.

✈ Stansted (STN)

Poland · Spain · Germany · Austria

National Express coach direct to Luton Airport: ~1h 35m, from ~£17. Runs hourly most of the day.

From Luton: Busway or Uber to Dunstable/Premier Inn (~15–20 mins).

Or: Stansted Express train → Tottenham Hale → St Pancras → Luton by Thameslink (~1h 30m).

🚂 East Midlands (EMA)

Best route: no London needed

National Express coach runs direct from East Midlands Airport to Luton Airport — from ~£15, ~1h 45m. From Luton: Busway or Uber straight to Dunstable/Premier Inn (~15–20 mins).

Book at nationalexpress.com. Much simpler than going via London.

🚂 Newcastle · Bristol · Cardiff

Train to London Euston (~2–3 hrs depending on city), then London Northwestern → Leighton Buzzard (~35 mins). From Leighton Buzzard: X2/X3 bus direct to Dunstable (~40 mins, every 30 mins).

Book trains in advance at nationalrail.co.uk — advance fares significantly cheaper. Bristol/Cardiff guests: consider flying into Luton direct for simplicity.

🚗 Final leg to the hall

From Premier Inn Dunstable to the hall (LU7 9PN): Uber ~£13, ~15 mins. Share with other guests to split the cost.

To Centre Parcs Sunday: ~20 miles, ~25 mins drive. Uber available from Dunstable.

What to pack

Saturday: Smart casual — a nice dress, skirt, or smart trousers with a shirt or blouse. No suit or ball gown needed. Smart flat shoes or low heels (the field is grass).

Sunday: Completely informal — jeans, t-shirt, trainers.

Smart tip: One smart-casual outfit covers both days if you keep Sunday relaxed. Add a light jacket (September evenings), swimwear if using the pool or spa.

Summary: Smart outfit + trainers + jacket + swimwear = one carry-on bag.
